What this is
Company Intel ("we", "us") searches published web sources for a claim you submit and returns a verdict with the quoted evidence behind it. You ("you", "the customer") pay per claim at the rates published on our pricing page. We are an independent Ounie product.
Billing
There is no subscription. Checks are billed in Ounie credits (1 credit = 1¢) from your shared Ounie wallet at 12 credits per claim. Credits are reserved when a check starts and settled only when it produces a verdict. A check that returns unverifiable with no evidence at all, or that fails upstream, refunds the reservation in full and automatically. Credits are purchased and managed on ounie.com; your past checks stay readable regardless of your balance.
Keyless x402 calls are paid per call in USDC. They are verified before the check runs and settled only once a verdict with evidence exists, so a result with nothing behind it is refused rather than charged. A settled x402 payment is final.
Accuracy — read this one
A verdict is a summary of what we found published, not a determination of truth. We search a subset of the web at a moment in time; sources can be wrong, out of date, paywalled, missing, or absent in your language. A supported verdict means published sources back the claim, not that the claim is true. An unverifiable verdict means we found nothing that settles it, not that the claim is false.
The evidence is attached precisely so that you can check it. For decisions with legal, medical, financial or safety consequences, treat a verdict as a pointer to primary sources and not as a substitute for professional judgement. You remain responsible for what you publish or act on.
Acceptable use
Submit claims, not payloads. Do not use the service to harass or build dossiers on private individuals, to launder a fabricated citation into something that looks verified, or to misrepresent a verdict — for example by presenting a mixed result as supported, or by quoting a verdict without the evidence that qualifies it. Do not attempt to discover endpoints we have not documented, bypass rate limits, or resell raw access to the service.
Attribution
Evidence quotes and links belong to their publishers; we reproduce short excerpts to show our working. If you republish a verdict, keep the sources with it and follow the terms of the sites you are quoting.
Availability
The service depends on a third-party search provider and a third-party language model, both of which change over time and may refuse individual requests under their own policies. A failed check refunds automatically, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability.
No warranty
The service is provided as-is, without warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
Refunds
Thin and failed checks refund automatically — the credit reservation is reversed to the exact pools it was drawn from. For anything else, open a support ticket.
Liability
Our liability is capped at the amount you paid us in the prior 12 months. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including any loss arising from your reliance on a verdict.
Termination
Either party can terminate at any time. You keep access to checks you have already paid for and can export them before closing your account. We may suspend accounts for material violations of these terms with notice.
